What is Cursor?
Cursor looks and feels like VS Code, which makes switching painless, but AI sits at the center of everything. Tab completion predicts your next edit, not just the next word, and you can highlight code and ask for changes in plain English.
Where it really clicked for us was working across a whole project. Ask the agent to add a feature or fix a bug, and it reads the relevant files, proposes changes in several places and lets you review the diff before accepting.
That power has a cost: big agent runs can go off track, so you still need to read what it changes. Heavy users can also hit request limits. The free plan is a decent trial, and Pro at $20 per month suits anyone coding daily.
