What is Framer?
Framer is where we go when a website needs to look properly designed, not just assembled. The canvas feels close to a design tool, with smooth animations and responsive layouts, yet what you build is a real, live site you can publish on your own domain.
Its AI features help most at the start: describe a page and Framer generates a first layout you can restyle, and it can also help with copy and translations. In our experience the generated pages are a starting point rather than a finished product, but a stylish one.
There is a learning curve if you have never used a design tool, and costs rise when you add custom domains, more pages or extra editors. For portfolios, startup landing pages and marketing sites, it is a joy to work in.
