Meshy

Making 3D models by hand takes real skill and patience. Meshy shortcuts the first part: type a description like a weathered wooden chest, or upload a reference image, and it generates a textured 3D model you can preview, refine and download.

In our tests it was best for props and stylized objects, the kind of filler assets that eat time in a game or scene. You can also retexture an existing model with a prompt, which is a quick way to try different looks.

Generated meshes are not always clean, so expect some cleanup in Blender or another tool before production use, especially for animated characters. The free tier is fine for experimenting, with paid plans from $16 per month for more credits and commercial-friendly use.
